I just finished my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and beginning September 4, 2001, I start graduate school, also at BYU. I will be a student in the Marriott School of Management, Romney Institute of Public Management enrolled in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. I anticipate completing the program in April 2003. I plan to build upon my undergraduate education in health education and gain additional knowledge in international/non-profit development, particularly in healthcare economics and financing in the third world. I work at the BYU Career Placement Center assisting BYU alumni in all parts of the world in finding/upgrading employment. I also work specifically with students graduating in health sciences to identify career options for them. McKenzie and I are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For a list of informational sites, click here. I have always enjoyed radio and media--for information on the radio show I'm part of and other media links, click here. This year I am turning 40 and I'm very excited...my second adulthood--I bet I'll do more with this one (or at least not have to "try everything myself" this time around!) A number of my friends, Lynette (Mallonee) Milligan, Leslie (Klingsporn) Stilson, Tammie Luke and Barbara Curtis-Scott are all turning 40 this year...Barbara, sent this (funny, but serious in intent) letter to her children...it's WELL worth the read! I have a lot of varied interests--following is an unorganized pot pourri of my eclectic pool of unrelated interests (and stuff that just flat out entertains me!) [Links will be continually updated.] ******** MyFamily.com. This is a place where you can go to set up an interactive website for your immediate and/or extended family. It's very easy to do and a very great way to stay in touch with far-flung family members. The
Weakest Link. "You ARE The Weakest Link.
Goodbye." I think I could do well on this show...maybe I could even
come up with a witty remark to the caustic Anne Robinson. |
